Funded by the eSafety Commissioner, this project is investigating the influence of gaming influencers on tween boys. The project is funded through the ‘Preventing Tech-based Abuse of Women’ grants program.

Health influences in online gaming communities

This project is investigating the unintentional influences on health within online gaming communities on Twitch. Through observations, the project is seeking to understand the discussions that gaming influencers have with their communities, that are not about the game.
Findings from the first study have been published in the Journal of Electronic Games and Esports.
